Understand the Grid
There is typically an 8×8 or 10×10 grid. Each cell can hold a block. When the grid is completely filled, the game ends.
Choose Your Blocks
Each round you are given three blocks of different shapes. Place the one that fits properly on the grid.
Clear Lines
When a full row or column is completed, it clears automatically and your score increases. Clearing multiple lines at once earns bonus points.
Build a High Score
Keep playing as long as there is space on the grid. Strategic block placement will push your score beyond your personal record.

Start from the Corners
Begin placing blocks from the corners of the grid. Keeping the corners filled early leaves more space in the middle for upcoming blocks and increases the chance of clearing lines.
Try to Clear Multiple Lines at Once
If placing one block clears both a row and a column at the same time, your score multiplies. This "combo" strategy is the main tool of high scorers.
Look at All Three Blocks Together
Consider the shapes of all three upcoming blocks before making a decision. If you only look for space for the current block, placing the next ones can become difficult.
Keep the Grid Balanced
Instead of stacking blocks on one side, fill the entire grid evenly. If one side gets completely filled, there is no room for larger blocks and the game ends quickly.
